Kokomo [Japanese] ‘peace, harmony and soul’

Once you step through the meticulously handmade Bali limestone walls you will sense the peace and tranquility of this beautifully designed and crafted villa. Continuing down the white bougainvillea shaded boardwalk leads you past the discretely hidden bedrooms behind slatted timber sliding screens acting as both a privacy barrier and a welcoming breezeway.

Designed to blend with nature, the Kokomo aesthetic incorporates recycled timbers, teak floors and the timber screening provides both privacy and ventilation.

Sliding back the screen reveals the master bedroom surrounded by garden with a beautifully styled ensuite featuring an outdoor rain shower. The luxurious king size bed and suspended mosquito net draped from the vaulted ceiling provide a perfect retreat for blissful rest.

The guest bedroom gives you the option to set up with either twin beds or a super-king size bed. The spacious outdoor bathroom continues the integration of the warmth of timber with earthy tones and a beautiful open air stone shower wall.

Continue down the boardwalk into the stunning open air living space featuring dramatic recycled Ulin timber beams and a soaring traditional alang alang roof. You can cook up a storm in the fully fitted out kitchen with locally sourced produce or popped over to Sandy Bay Beach Club for all day dining and amazing cocktails.

The living area is fitted with the latest large screen Smart TV and Bluetooth sound bar for fully immersive sound. For those who like to stay connected, Kokomo is equipped with Starlink satellite internet offering speeds up to 140 Mbps — perfect for remote work, streaming, or sharing your island getaway in real-time.

All rooms are fitted with fans and the master and guest bedrooms are fully air conditioned.

The pool is a Lakeman tile masterpiece featuring a restful, calming waterfall making your daybed dreaming all the more relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Kokomo. The villa was spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and there was plenty of eateries & spas nearby. We particularly enjoyed that it was located right next to Sandy Bay beach club. We hope to return on our next visit. Thank you!

Beautifully decorated, spacious accommodation, responsiveness of the host following an error on our part (sick child). Great kindness from the host. Great snorkelling experience with the company recommended in their advice book (Nemo Captain 12: we saw dolphins, manta rays, turtles, and it was wonderful even for our 9-year-old son who is a bad swimmer). Very nice pool. The thermal conditions in the house (living room and bedrooms) are very pleasant. Thank you for everything 🙏

An oasis a stone’s throw from the best beach and restaurant on the island.
We loved the location super close to our favourite restaurant on the island, Sandy Bay Beach Club. We also loved the interior design and indoor/outdoor theme of the villa – it was a beautiful villa. Special thanks must go to Komang our villa manager who took such good care of us organising taxis, buggies, and more. We loved it.

The location on the beach of Sandy Bay, peace and quiet, private pool, two bathrooms, fresh fruit every day and daily cleaning service. The owner is a real host and is available day and night.

Beautiful accommodation, very attractively decorated. Swimming pool is on the small side. The accommodation is right next to other accommodation and their road. Entrance via small alley. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Close to beach club Sandy Bay. Had wonderful days.

We had a lovely time at Kokomo. It was secluded and quiet and was everything we’d hoped for. A special mention to Komang who was super responsive always helpful if we ever needed anything. We particularly loved the fresh fruit platter staff would leave on cleaning days! Thank you.

We spent four nights at Villa Kokomo. What a wonderful villa! It looks just like the photos, and the owner and team are very friendly. We were picked up from the ferry, there was a welcome drink and some fruit, and almost every day after cleaning, there was some delicious fruit in the fridge. The villa is luxuriously finished and well-maintained. You sometimes see that differently in Bali, but here it’s truly fantastic! At the neighboring villa (Sandy Bay), you can enjoy delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. If we ever go to Nusa Lembongan again, we will definitely rent through The Lembongan Traveller!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kokomo. I highly recommend Sandy Bay Beach Club and Ohana’s for food. If you’re looking for great snorkeling book with Captain Nemo. We did not rent scooters so we walked most places or used a taxi. Komang and his team were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.
