The joy of discovering Nusa Lembongan is the list is endless; there are so many places to explore, exquisite crystal clear waters to swim in,  and island tracks to take to secluded places. Nusa Lembongan villas, resorts, hotels and bungalows offer diverse range of accommodation, facilities and prices to suit families, couples and the wanderlust.

Here are The Lembongan Traveller’s top 5 things to do in Nusa Lembongan.

Eat Local – Lembongan Warungs

Nusa Lembongan has some fantastic Warungs offering amazing traditonal Indonesian cuisine.  They may appear very basic from the road side, but do yourself a favour and step inside, order a few dishes and you will soon be thankful.  One of our favourites and for so many others too, is Nyoman’s Warung (#7 on the map via this link)  at the northern end of the island, near the Mangroves.  Nyoman is an inspiring,  family focussed, hard working woman, with a heart of gold and a natural talent that will impress any chef.  Our tip is to try the fish wrapped in banana leaf (OMG it’s so good!) or if you are with 4 or more friends order one of the banquet options.  PLUS she has ICY COLD beers! Guaranteed you will be visiting again & again.  More info…

Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida is expansive, spectacular and has a natural beauty that will be with you forever.  Our first visit to Penida was only a year ago, from the moment we landed and set off on our scooters ( following our guide) it was clear this was a place that has so much to offer but also had yet to be discovered by mainstream tourism – such a positive.

Due to the size and undulating terrain, you can only see part of it in one day.  We packed all we could into one day, arriving back on Lembongan at dusk, exhausted, exhilarated and already planning to go back!

As a result we have teamed up with a local operator and guides, offering two different day trip packages from Nusa Lembongan and one for Bali based day trippers.

Island adventurers …. this is for you. MORE INFO
