Kokomo [Japanese] ‘peace, harmony and soul’

Once you step through the meticulously handmade Bali limestone walls you will sense the peace and tranquility of this beautifully designed and crafted villa. Continuing down the white bougainvillea shaded boardwalk leads you past the discretely hidden bedrooms behind slatted timber sliding screens acting as both a privacy barrier and a welcoming breezeway.

Designed to blend with nature, the Kokomo aesthetic incorporates recycled timbers, teak floors and the timber screening provides both privacy and ventilation.

Sliding back the screen reveals the master bedroom surrounded by garden with a beautifully styled ensuite featuring an outdoor rain shower. The luxurious king size bed and suspended mosquito net draped from the vaulted ceiling provide a perfect retreat for blissful rest.

The guest bedroom gives you the option to set up with either twin beds or a super-king size bed. The spacious outdoor bathroom continues the integration of the warmth of timber with earthy tones and a beautiful open air stone shower wall.

Continue down the boardwalk into the stunning open air living space featuring dramatic recycled Ulin timber beams and a soaring traditional alang alang roof. You can cook up a storm in the fully fitted out kitchen with locally sourced produce or popped over to Sandy Bay Beach Club for all day dining and amazing cocktails.

The living area is fitted with the latest large screen Smart TV and Bluetooth sound bar for fully immersive sound.

All rooms are fitted with fans and the master and guest bedrooms are fully air conditioned.

The pool is a Lakeman tile masterpiece featuring a restful, calming waterfall making your daybed dreaming all the more relaxing.

Located in beautiful Sandy Bay, Kokomo is a mere 30 metres from both the secluded white sand beach and the renowned Sandy Bay Beach Club, a true paradise at your doorstep. You are also within walking distance of many traditional restaurants [warungs] serving the best the island has to offer.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at Villa Kokomo! The location is fantastic — quiet, away from the main hustle and yet close to some great local spots. It made exploring the area convenient. The space itself was beautifully set up—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail was well-considered, from the comfortable furniture to the indoor-outdoor balance. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything needed and were very responsive to any needs. Overall, it was a seamless and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Check in and check out was easy! We were greeted by a team with a welcome drink and a fruit platter. We loved our stay here. We requested some scooters and we received them within 30 minutes. They were dropped at our villa!! So easy! Also, we had laundry done and our clothes were returned so clean and folded so nicely! Thanks!

Amazing villa in a great location with incredible staff
My wife and I had the best time staying at this villa. It is literally right next door to Sandy Bay Beach Club, within walking distance of some great spots to eat, and is so comfortable with an amazing private pool, lots of drinking water, and comfortable beds. The staff were amazing, and I’d like to give a special thank you to Agus for being so responsive and helpful all the time with any questions we had, and organising activities for us such as booking our snorkelling tour and organising scooters for us to use – he was excellent! We had the best time and would love to return.

Staff was wonderful and villa was pristine. So many restaurants and spas and anything you need within walking distance. The beach club next door can get a little noisy at night, but not too late and is mostly drowned out by the sound of the ocean.

We had a great time staying here on our honeymoon! Agus from The Lembongan Traveller was helpful with any request we had and gave us tips on great spots on the island. We wish we stayed a couple of extra days. The villa was beautiful and all of the spots on the island were easily accessible via scooter or taxi. Definitely utilize rocky fast boat transfers they have everything dialed!

Home tastefully decorated. Personal adorable and responsive. a downside for us, the music omnipresent on the beach next door. A real asset: an assortment of sodas, beers and cool wines at normal rates. We also loved tropical plants along the perimeter walls and in the outdoor showers.

We loved our stay at Villa Kokomo. Thanks to Agus and his team for making us feel so welcome and looking after us. The villa is great, located next to Sandy Bay Beach club which was a great place to chill. There are lovely restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We were warmly greeted by our lovely host, Agus and staff, on day one with a beautiful fruit platter and tour through the villa. Agus spent time with our family to speak about the villa amenities and how to get around the island, what activities to engage in and where to eat. He kindly arranged for taxis for us and was able to arrange for additional water when required. We were blown away by the exceptionally presented villa. It is exactly like the pictures, extremely comfortable, clean and protected from the heat. The turn down service was beautifully done, making the villa dimly lit and beds ready for a comfortable snooze. Food was easily found in the area as was scooter hire. We found the Sandy Beach Club particularly handy as they have a playground there for the kids. We were also able to arrange a baby fence around the pool to stop our ambitious toddler from getting into the water unsupervised. We were sad to leave Villa Kokomo and hope to come back one day.
