Just a step away from Tamarind Beach, Tales Bookcafé is a newly opened café that offers a cozy spot to enjoy good coffee and great reads. The café features a library with 700+ secondhand books filled with a mix of genres, including both fiction and non-fiction as well as some for the little ones. Guests are welcome to read while enjoying their coffee, or make use of our unique book swap system— bring a used book and trade it for a new story to take home. With no bookshop on the island, our library is a unique offering, making it a must visit for book lovers. We also offer an assortment of board games that you can use freely in the café.
Aside from our coffee, we also offer a variety of different teas and an assortment of cold-press juices. Our menu includes both hot and cold options, from paninis and vibrant salads to hearty bowls and an all-day breakfast menu. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, we also offer a range of small bites, all prepared with care right here in the café. We’re also excited to now offer a dinner menu, featuring delicious burgers, authentic Swedish meatballs.
Every Thursday from 6 PM to 10 PM, we host game night—a fun, social event where you can enjoy games with friends or meet new people while having some food and drinks. We also run a monthly book club that’s free for anyone to join!
