Just a step away from Tamarind Beach, Tales Bookcafé offers a cozy spot to enjoy good coffee and great reads. The café features a library with 900+ secondhand books from a wide mix of genres, including both fiction and non-fiction as well as some reading for the little ones. Guests are welcome to read while enjoying their coffee, or make use of their book swap system— bring a used book and trade it for a new story to take home. With no bookshop on the island, Tales’ library is a unique offering, making it a must visit for book lovers. There is also an assortment of board games that you can use freely in the café.

Aside from coffee, they also offer a variety of different teas and an assortment of cold-press juices. The menu includes both hot and cold options, from paninis and vibrant salads to hearty bowls and an all-day breakfast menu. If you’re in the mood for something heavier there is also a dinner menu, featuring delicious burgers, and authentic Swedish meatballs.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to enjoy a meal or a refreshing drink after exploring the island, Tales Bookcafé is the perfect place to unwind. Stop by and experience a small oasis for all book lovers alike!
