At The Lembongan Traveller, we’re more than just a travel platform. We’re a passionate team who live and breathe Nusa Lembongan. Since launching in 2013 as a humble Instagram page, we’ve grown into a boutique property management company with a full-service website, thriving social media, and our very own app. With an Australian founder and a team based right here on the island, our office is open seven days a week to help you experience the very best of Lembongan, because we know this island like the back of our hand.

What draws you to Lembongan?There’s infinite opportunity on this little island and whilst it’s only 30 minutes from Bali, the vibe feels different – more raw and real.

What sport do you usually do to stay active on the island?I usually play badminton and padel, but running is the sport I do most often. The feeling of running along the trail at Devil’s Tear is unbeatable.

What makes Lembongan a great place to visit for a family?Lembongan has everything – it’s a short distance from Bali with nice beaches and it’s easy to walk everywhere.

What do few people know about Lembongan?We have Sea Silence Day here, a holy day to pay respect to the Sea God and a day where the ocean takes a ‘pause’, no swimming, snorkelling or boat activities are allowed on this auspicious day.

What’s your most recommended thing to do on Lembongan?Get a Seaweed Farming experience. Watching, enjoying the vibes, even try to do it with the local farmer.

My favourite local food is…Pepes ikan at Warung Nyoman. The view is amazing at the front of the beach and overlooking Mount Agung.

As a Ceningan local, do you have a favourite secret spot?Parangan Jepang. The best spot for rock fishing in Ceningan. Ask the locals if you don’t want to get lost.

What’s your favourite beach in Lembongan?I have two actually : Song Lambung, a rather hidden beach that feels private and one near Dream Beach area… I can’t tell you this secret location though!

What’s your favourite spot, and why?On the edge of a cliff at Villa Tranquilla or Villa Tanjung — the view is absolutely unmatched.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
We had a lovely stay in villa 3 (LIBV). Perfect fit for 2 families with small kids. It is a great location, walking distance from lovely beaches, restaurants and massages. The staff are extremely helpful! I managed to leave a bracelet behind when we checked out, which had sentimental meaning to me, and they went to a lot of effort to make sure it got back to me in Australia. I cannot thank them enough. Will definitely go back and visit again.

Stunning villa with the most caring and lovely staff. Breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh. The views are beautiful and the steps up to the villa were a good way to walk off dinner each night. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing luxurious villa, magnificent location and very friendly staff . Wonderful place with our large family group . The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. So close to great beaches, cafes and restaurants or excellent in-house menu.

The team were so helpful in booking multiple villas for our large group and arranged our ferry transport. The team were also super helpful in making some recommendations and introductions to several restaurants to assist me in booking a large group booking for a milestone birthday. They definitely made our first trip to Nusa Lembongan an easy booking experience.

We recently hired all of Villa Sayang for 11 people and absolutely loved it! The villas and the view were amazing and it was incredible to wake up to every day. The villas were so private and just a short 5 minute walk along the water to get to nearby restaurants and bars! The service was excellent and for those days we lazed around the villa, the staff were so attentive, friendly and also did trips out to get things for us. A big thank you to Adde and the staff, Komang, Gede, Pande, Wayan, Kadek and Julie! Would highly recommend and hopefully one day soon, come back again and stay at Villa Sayang!

We booked accomodation and transfers with TLT. I wanted to get some more info when I changed numbers for accom and then the boat to Lembongan, but the team would always get back to me with a reply AND ANSWERS within a day or so.. usually less.
I would recommend, but more than that I’ll actually use them again when we head back.

We have been to Bali well over 20 times and this was our 7th time in Lembongan and by far our most favourite time in Bali and Lembongan. We stayed at Villa Madu and our villa host Ary (AryantaPutra) truly made our stay. He met us on our boat arrival just to greet us and then met us back at the villa to show us around. Organised our bike and any transport required when we needed at night. He also helped my husband with a surprise floating breakfast from a restaurant I wanted to try for my birthday and Ary and Kadek decorated the villa while we went out for coffee that morning. They also organised a cake for me which was so sweet. So much thought and care and a wonderful personalised experience. We would continue to stay at Villa Madu and other Villas that Ary manages again. The Villa itself was beautiful and had an incredible view, but was also private and away from the hustle and bustle. I do think this is a great place to stay if you like being close to Jungut Batu but don’t mind being a bit out with a couple minutes on the scooter and honestly you can get pretty much anything on the island delivered these days, just make sure you have WhatsApp and contact places to ask, we liked making the most of the villa. There was a tiny bit on construction next door as they are building a second villa but honestly we’re in a family of builders so it felt like home :). Our stay was a 10 out of 10.
