Gecko Villa and Bungalows offers boutique accommodation, featuring 5 traditional timber bungalows with alang-alang roofs, in addition to one main villa, all located on Mangrove Beach, Jungutbatu.

Gecko Villa and Bungalows enjoys the quieter side of the island while still being close to Jungutbatu’s eat street, surf breaks, and swimmer-friendly beaches. Enjoy morning walks along the beach, or have your ice-cold beer in one of the nearby warungs come sundown.

Each bungalow features a king bed (convertible to twins), a TV, a wardrobe, a bathroom with a standing shower, a mini fridge, a water dispenser, and a private balcony with views of the pool and garden.

The main villa features a private pool, a spacious living room with a kitchenette, a master bedroom with a king bed, and a bathroom with a bath tub and standing shower. Enjoy the day goes by and panoramic views of the beach and Mount Agung from the villa from the observation deck.

Gecko Bungalows is a nice, quiet place in the northern part of Lembongan. The manager, Joni, is a kind and calm person who does his best to make his guests feel at home. There was a dispute at check out about how many beers I’d drunk from the minibar in the room, but Joni let it go, which I appreciate. Also he came to “rescue” my friends when their motorbike broke down in the early morning one day. I stayed in a bungalow, which was quaint and new and made entirely of wood in the traditional style. My friends stayed in the villa which was big and amazing.

Staying at a bungalow on Lembongan Island was an absolute delight! The cozy, rustic charm of the wooden huts, combined with the lush tropical surroundings, made it feel like a hidden paradise. The bungalow itself was well-maintained and spacious, with a comfortable bed and simple yet stylish decor. The thatched roof and wooden interior gave it an authentic island vibe.

One of the best parts was relaxing on the private porch, where we could enjoy the tranquil garden views and the sound of nature. The shared pool area was also a great place to cool off after exploring the island. It’s clean, well-kept, and surrounded by greenery, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the beach and local eateries. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this bungalow stay offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

Beautiful little complex. A fantastic team. Everything is clean and very stylishly decorated. Cooling cupboard, hot and cold water dispenser in the room, air conditioning, fan, and lovely, cozy lighting. ☺️ Very, very quiet. ☺️ A great place with a great location. I had an excellent stay at Gecko bugalow! It started already at checkin. A warm welcome with a fresh touch to cooldown with this high temparatures; a cold wet towel for the face and sodawater as drink. Perfect! The bungalows are very nice, luxury and proper. What i mostly like is the private cold and hot water tap point. Easily to have a nice cold water or to make a hot coffee in your own bungalow. Airconditioned bedroom with roof fan. Even the cozy terrace is equiped with fan. The swimming pool is also enjoinable protected with roof for enough shadow. But what makes this stay extra excellent is Joni the owner. He managed to arrange a motor tour around the island and snorkletrip to spot mantas. And yes, you can indeed book such adventures around every corner there but Joni and his friends makes it the best, the safest, the most succesfull, the nicest and so on. Truly! He is for every small or big question always available with Whatsapp. This makes for me i would highly recommend this stay. Thanks Joni for this unforgettable time!

Stayed there early season, no one was there so had private pool. Staff very nice, Joni like everyone here wrote very accommodating. Room looked good, always smelled like a toilet when you came in, but was due to two fragrant dispensers that just distributed the smell Very quiet and some delicious currency right in the area.

We rented a very nice villa with a private pool. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are several restaurants within walking distance where you can have breakfast or dinner.

The mangroves are very close, where you can go canoeing. Snorkeling and diving trips are also nearby.

You can rent a scooter at the Gecko for 100,000 IDR.

10/10 experience, highly recommended to anyone visit Nusa Lembongan
I enjoyed my stay immensely. Joni was an excellent host who made sure our stay was as comfortable and effortless as possible. Staying in the 1 bedroom villa was Awesome (Bagus!). The mix of the private pool, 2 rooms (bedroom and living room), opposite beach and very close to great bars and restaurants. Beautiful bungalows, very clean, right on the edge of the main stretch into town (which is a perfect location)! Everything was super close and it was quiet. Joni was a great host, very helpful and gave us lots of tips! We also visited his restaurant Nyoman‘s Warung which was fantastic!! Joni helped us with everything and was the best host we have had so far and we travel a lot 😜 The facility is small but perfectly adequate for a nice stay. The pool has a roof so the children can also swim in the shade. Joni had a bigger air conditioner installed in the bungalow which was great.

Great place to stay.
Joni is a star and him and his staff really made this place worth it. Joni helped us with various things (scooter rental, places to go, transport to dive shop) and was very responsive and proactive. Big plus was the free water dispenser, big fridge, nice clean pool. We found it warm with existing AC so they went above and beyond to replace it for a bigger one that made our stay much more pleasurable.

Beautiful, well priced and helpful staff…..nearly perfect!
Staff were amazing. Joni is very helpful and helps arrange motorbike hire, Snorkelling, a meal at his beautiful seafood restaurant and more…. Rooms are well maintained and very good. They certainly do the job and value for money. Mini bar very reasonable. Pool and Gardens very clean. I would definitely come back if was staying in this area of the island again. There are plenty of eating and drinking options nearby. Beach isn’t the best, but there are others not far away.
