Sea Shanty is the result of the vision to build a simple but beautiful villa, created from recovered teak sourced in Java. This gives the villa a genuine island feel and exudes a romantic touch and brings our guests into a tropical idyll so close to this stunning Sandy Bay beach.

You will be immersed in nature and revel in the surrounds as you are able to have the villa completely open to sleep virtually under the stars and hear the waves crashing onto Devils Tear.

The villa concept always embraced the outdoors and as such the large Bale built at the end of the pool creates another living space to enjoy.

For those looking for more seclusion the villa can be closed up with curtains drawn and the air-conditioning on giving you the option to relax in the comfort of indoors.

The ‘Shanty’ is only 50 metres away from Nusa Lembongan’s famous Sandy Bay Beach Club.  Enjoy delicious meals and incredible cocktails throughout the day and into the evening whilst you watch Mother Nature’s sky show as the sun sets.

The villa is fully staffed, offering a daily house keeping service and completed with subtle luxuries to ensure a relaxing stay at the wonderful Sea Shanty.

Great hosts, the team looking after the villa are really nice and in touch via prior to ensure we had a precooked taxi to collect us from the boat. The villa was really nice with all the amenities as listed. They have a cleaning services everyday to tidy the garden and sweep the villa. The pool is fabulous and great after a long hot day. The fridge is restocked with beer and soft drinks which you pay for when you leave. Location of our villa was right next to Sandy bay beach club but there are other places to eat and small shop up the road.

We loved our stay at Sea Shanty!
The villa was amazing – very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is quiet and peaceful, with the sounds of nature all around; at night you can even hear the ocean. The villa has two air conditioners and two ceiling fans, so you can easily adjust the temperature on each side for maximum comfort. There is also a large fridge with a minibar (for a fee) and a freezer, which was very convenient. The manager, Komang, was exceptionally kind and helpful – he arranged a scooter for us, took care of our laundry (ready the next day!), and was always attentive and supportive. Just keep in mind that the island does not have its own water source, so showering is slightly limited. In our case, the water stopped after a minute or so, but it started running again after a short pause, so it was never really a problem. Overall, we truly loved our stay at Sea Shanty and would be happy to come back!

The villa manager, Kormang, was delightful. Helpful in every way and always responsive to messages or requests. Right next to the Sandy Bay Beach club, which was a bonus as it’s a beautiful spot for a drink or a meal. Very quiet at night, no through traffic, plenty of space and a good sized pool. Our first trip to Lembongan and truly a little piece of paradise.

This was by far the most beautiful Airbnb on our entire Bali trip! The accommodation was very clean, beautifully furnished and located in a fantastic environment. A perfect stay at this stunning villa. Upon arrival at the port of Mushroom Bay, we were waiting. They called us the taxi. When we opened the garden door we were excited, were greeted by the wonderful team with orange juice and wet towel and they explained everything to us. We felt really good. The villa is a rare gem and I understand why now. Private with our pool, our large patio was the dream place for my wife’s 30th birthday. For an extra fee, because I wanted something wow for the party day. They prepared the decorations in the room, sparkling wine and cake and confetti. That was awesome. I highly recommend this villa and the hosts the Lembongan travel they are wonderful. Thank you for everything, it will remain in our memory forever.

We had a wonderful stay in Nusa Lembongan in the Shanty villa. The villa is absolutely perfect for a few days and even exceeded our expectations. The staff were very attentive to all our needs and even allowed us to organise activities and babysitting services. One regret: not staying longer. Thank you for everything!!!
