Nestled on Jungutbatu Hill, a newly developed neighbourhood celebrated for its breathtaking views of Mount Agung, the ocean, and lush jungle, Utopia Villas Lembongan offers a serene escape with 1 and 2-bedroom villas. Conveniently located just 5 minutes drive from Coconut Beach and the vibrant Jungutbatu eat street, the villas boast 180-degree views of their stunning surroundings.

Designed to be airy and inviting, Utopia Villas seamlessly bring the outdoors in while embracing sustainable living. The villas use solar panels, maintain chemical-free pools, and prioritise locally sourced furniture and amenities. Whenever possible, food-grade cleaning products are also used for an eco-conscious stay.

  • One-Bedroom Villa (50 sq m): Perfect for couples or solo travellers, this villa includes a twin bed (convertible to king), a plunge pool, an en-suite bathroom with a standing shower, a living room, a kitchen, a covered seating area, and a sundeck.
  • Two-Bedroom Villa (100 sq m) : Ideal for small families or friends, this villa features a king bedroom and a twin bedroom (convertible to a super king), a private 6-metre pool, en-suite bathrooms with standing showers, a kitchen and dining area, a semi-outdoor living area, a covered seating area, and a sundeck with two sun chairs.

The villas can be booked individually or as a complex, making them a versatile 3 bedroom complex for any occasion. A connecting door by the poolside allows easy access between the two villas whilst still maintaining the privacy of guests.

Please note that the villas are located in a rapidly growing neighbourhood with ongoing construction nearby. To ensure your stay offers great value, we’ve adjusted the pricing accordingly.

Family with young child is advised to rent a pool fence due to infinity pool design. Our team can assist with recommending a vendor for pool fence.

We absolutely died and went to heaven here. We really were blown away, the kids still honestly talk about it since being home.
Quality of accommodation – Incredible!! It is so stunning and had everything we needed.
The layout is incredible with the open plan, and the bougainvilleas over the patio are just beautiful.
Bedding was perfect, we slept so well and it was so peaceful. Bathrooms were lovely, loved the outdoor bath the most!
Ambience – the villa was honestly so relaxing. It was peaceful, and really all you heard was the waves crashing! The fire pit was my favourite spot to just sit and watch the water or the sunset.
The staff were AMAZING. I had them on WhatsApp and they always replied instantly. One of the staff took my husband on the bike to the wine shop , and the others were so helpful and friendly always. We  had everything we needed, I can’t think of anything that we didn’t have that we couldn’t get! I honestly can’t think of anything negative because it is such a special place.

Ary was an amazing host. From the time to check in until the end of our stay he was extremely responsive and helpful in getting us to and from the accomodation. Great local recomendations. Although the villa is more secluded and private from the walkable more busy part of town, he provided easy access to rides to and from anywhere we wanted to go. The villa itself was prsitine. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms. Airconditioned rooms. And a great pool with a stunning view. 10/10 could not have enjoyed our stay more.

Great place to stay, superb view of the bay and surfbreaks. All very new, very helpfull crew. Great pool. Small details still missing, like electric muskito repellent, but all solved ok. We were surprised of construction work just in front of the villa, it would have been good when they had informed us in advance. A bit remote location, so I would recommend a scooter to get around. Highly recommended Villa!

Tropica Tranquility is a hidden gem nestled on Mangrove Beach in Jungutbatu. This new boutique resort features four charming bungalows, a one-bedroom apartment, a swimming pool, and an air-conditioned yoga shala, all set within a lush tropical garden and adorned with chic bohemian interiors.

Each bungalow includes a king bed, a minibar, a wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a private balcony. The one-bedroom apartment offers a king bed, a kitchenette, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a living area, and a spacious balcony.

As the only resort in the area with an air-conditioned yoga studio, Tropica Tranquility is perfect for intimate retreats or special gatherings with friends. Spend your days lounging by the pool or take a short walk to Jungutbatu’s beach for a truly rejuvenating holiday.

Disclaimer: Tropica Tranquility complex is just across the way from a beachfront bar that hosts New and Full Moon parties. Beautiful, very clean and quiet hotel. Very informal because it is small. Hotel is located just outside the center, but easy and cheap scooter rental right by the hotel, which made it super easy to get to the center of the island (about 2 minutes by scooter). Everyone is very accommodating and nice. Staff also organized ferry tickets for us at an absolutely fair price! Thanks Teguh for the great surf lessons and to the staff for the relaxing massage – it was quite perfect. We would come back anytime.

Superb property, recently renovated with taste including 4 bungalows, a beautiful pool, a kitchenette area (sink, kettle, coffee, tea), massages on site and also yoga! Jenni will be happy to give you directions to watch the sunset or book a snorkeling trip! Everything is done so that we feel good, moreover we want to leave! The staff is lovely and discreet. Cleaning is done every day at the desired time! To be eco friendly a filtered water fountain is free in the kitchenette and linen is changed every 3 days. Fluffy towels provided! My bungalow was very comfortable: the bed, the pillows, the big bathroom… and I loved the whole decor! The valet service is top, the clothes smell super good! The free Wi-Fi works well.

Enjoy Tropica Tranquility
+ We enjoyed the stay at Tropica Tranquility. The contact with the owner went well. He was easily accessible from the beginning and he has arranged the transfer from the boat to the stay for us, top! The atmosphere was relaxed, it was nice to still be able to swim. Because the stay was very small, we sometimes felt like we had a private pool :-). The room was great, with a lovely bed! Also very nice that we could rent a scooter from the owner.

Gecko Villa and Bungalows offers boutique accommodation, featuring 5 traditional timber bungalows with alang-alang roofs, in addition to one main villa, all located on Mangrove Beach, Jungutbatu.

Gecko Villa and Bungalows enjoys the quieter side of the island while still being close to Jungutbatu’s eat street, surf breaks, and swimmer-friendly beaches. Enjoy morning walks along the beach, or have your ice-cold beer in one of the nearby warungs come sundown.

Joni is a star and him and his staff really made this place worth it. Joni helped us with various things (scooter rental, places to go, transport to dive shop) and was very responsive and proactive. Big plus was the free water dispenser, big fridge, nice clean pool. Staff were amazing. Joni is very helpful and helps arrange motorbike hire, Snorkelling, a meal at his beautiful seafood restaurant and more…. Rooms are well maintained and very good. It’s really well located. JONI the manager is welcoming he takes care of his customers perfectly. We were in a nice clean and complete bungalow. There is everything, the book about the establishment the book for what you can do in the surrounding area. A fridge TV air conditioning etc … we never needed to ask for anything. There is an ice water fountain, as the water in Bali is not drinkable, so no need to ask for another bottle, no need to ask for more toilet paper they put enough etc .. which is not the case in some other establishments. There are 5 bungalows a large sheltered swimming pool and a large villa with its own swimming pool. It is well located restaurants, cafes, ATM shops all nearby. 👍👍👍

The villa has a good location, not far from the beautiful beach, here you can rent beach chairs for free and enjoy the sunset. The manager Joni is super nice and very helpful in all, we had a villa with a private pool and the cute house cat Minni.

Gecko is the place to be! There are many amazing things but the best is the staff. Joni and all his team are kind, very welcoming and very caring. They showed their best interest in making the stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. From clean rooms to easily renting bikes, organising taxis and can easily book trips and activities. They go above and beyond. Joni himself is always reachable by WhatsApp with practically instant replies throughout the whole day. My partner suffered from Bali belly and Joni took me to the local pharmacy on his bike to help us get some medication and was very caring about the whole situation. Overall it really did feel like the staff at Gecko are always happy to help and are always happy that you are there. Location: Gecko is away from the sounds of motorbikes and loud music, yet just a short walk to some of the bigger restaurants. Gecko is right next to the beach but also has a pool. We thought we wouldn’t use the pool, but actually it was perfect for at the end of a long day when you want to cool off and get out the sun. Rooms: We stayed 4 nights in one of the bungalows and the room was lovely. The beds are very comfortable. Inside has a water dispenser which does cold and hot water (clean drinkable water) and this was just brilliant. There is also a fridge to use that is stocked with beer and other soft drinks at a very affordable price, and you can shower with hot and cold water. We also had no issues with bugs etc. Some things to note is that the sounds of island from animals can be loud. But after the first morning you get used to this and it helps get you up and make the most of the day. However in our room when we arrived Gecko had provided us with some great earplugs which equally worked a treat and blocked out any noise. The sounds of birds and animals you cannot escape though even if you stay at Gecko or somewhere else, as nature is nature.

Really nice, clean and well-kept facility with very nice Bungalows, which were furnished with everything you needed. Sufficient towels, cosmetics, mosquito spray, well stocked mini bar and coffee / tea utensils. We liked the big water dispenser best, so we did not have to buy a single plastic bottle of water during our stay. Air conditioning and fan inside, as well as an extra fan on the terrace, which was great in the evening! Joni is a magical host who was always available and really takes care of the well-being of his guests. We booked scooter including refueling via him, as well as a massage that took place right at the property. Within 5 minutes walking you are in the busy main street with a variety of restaurants, shops and of course the main beach of the island. We had a very nice and above all really relaxed time with constantly very nice neighbors. An oasis of relaxation. Bunny birdsong and geckosounds included (there were enough earplugs for a better sleep) Thanks to Joni and his team (and Mini, the cute house cat) 🙏

It is a nice and well-kept facility. Within a few minutes walk you are in the center of the action and on the beautiful main beach of the island. In the other direction it is only about 1km to Mangrove Beach which is also highly recommended. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel are many nice warungs, in which you can eat excellently. We rented two bungalows and a villa. The villa is wonderful. Huge, great pool, lots of terraces and sofa and sun lounger areas. Facing the sea. The bungalows were smaller but very good and very clean. No breakfast but they leave milk in the fridge and Nescafé packets. The staff was super friendly. They organized the motorcycle rental, the boat and snorkeling, the surfing. Loved everything. We stayed 3 nights but would have stayed a week.

We got the private villa and loved our stay here. Looked better than the photos in person. Spacious, clean, has a kitchen with an oven, fridge, etc. A bunch of seating areas, seating overlooking the pool and even massage beds. Pool is big and clean. Has everything you need and more.

Joni and his team were so kind and very helpful – you can organise a bunch through Joni – snorkelling, transport, bike rental, etc. He also has a seafood restaurant down the road which is worth checking out and is a great sunset spot. They also have the cutest cat named Minnie that lives there. There’s a place nearby that played music at night we could hear from our room but didn’t bother us, and Joni warned us about this beforehand anyway – I would say bring earplugs just in case. Definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely place to stay in Lembongan. We stayed here for 5 nights and loved the place. Good location and close to everything (particularly if you have a scooter). The staff were lovely and Joni, the manager, was particularly helpful. When I got food poisoning he quickly organised for doctors to come to the accommodation to help me and he made sure I had everything I needed to be as comfortable as possible. He also helped organise our taxis and boat from the island back to mainland Bali.

The stay at Gecko Villa was completely perfect for us. Joni was an extremely nice and helpful host, who welcomed us in a very friendly way. He organized a scooter for us which was in perfect condition. He also organized a pick up and drop off from the port for us. The Bungalows are very centrally located, so you could reach some bars and restaurants within great walking distance – yet the location of the Bungalows was very quiet. The equipment of the Bungalows was also perfect (water dispenser, fridge, safe, shampoo…). The bed was also extremely comfortable! We would definitely come back.

Right after booking Joni (the manager) contacted us personally via WhatsApp, thanked us for booking and offered us his support (e.g. transfer, pick up at the port). We were welcomed warmly. The complex has 5 bungalows, a pool with sun loungers/umbrellas and great activities (like snorkeling, mangrove tour, food in the room, scooter rental & Co.). Our Bungalow (no. 4) exceeded our expectations. A private fresh water dispenser, air conditioning with additional ceiling fans (room + terrace), WI-FI, smart TV, a wardrobe with clothes rail and storage compartments including safe, fridge / mini bar, mosquito spray for room + body, toiletries in the bathroom, a wonderful hot shower including hand held shower head, towels / mini bar and hair dryer. The terrace including sitting area and bamboo drying rack invited you to linger but more so the pool and sun loungers. Gecko Villa & Bungalows is a small oasis that provides a lot of privacy and invites you to relax and unwind, especially with the right neighbors (as we had them – greetings go out to the four young pleasant Australians). Everything was clean, you were well looked after and also cared for thanks to Joni. It felt like a home for the time you spent there. We will gladly come again and our recommendation is essential. We wish everyone here, like us, a few days of peace, peace and relaxation.

It is wonderfully quiet and yet you can walk to the little village or to the best beach on the island. The small pool was a great refreshment and the bungalows were cleaned every day. This was the most incredible place! I can’t even put into words how amazing this place was. We stayed at the pool all day and just relaxed. We never wanted to leave! This is the perfect place to just unwind and take in the tranquil views. The host was very responsive and even gave useful tips when our phones weren’t charging due to the moisture in the air 😂 I will say, the open air threw me off a little bit. I was slightly afraid of the geckos that came out at night but there is a Mosquito net and curtain around the bed, so it keeps them away from the sleeping area. Also, the sleeping area has an air conditioner right above the bed so you can close the curtains and cool it down before you crawl into bed for the night. We will 100% seek this Villa out during our next trip to Bali. The views alone are worth every penny!

Villa Damai is a nice villa situated in a secluded part of the island. It is spacious, airy, uniquely designed, and features a beautiful outdoor deck area with a lovely view. The helper was very responsive and polite. The interiors are aesthetically pleasing, although the lack of doors and windows can be a bit inconvenient due to mosquitoes and insects. However, we found the place to be fairly run down and in need of maintenance. The rugs were tattered, the curtains were coming apart, and the villa was generally dusty. The helper did address the issues immediately once we pointed them out. The villa has a lot of potential, and with proper maintenance and cleanliness, it would offer a more premium feel and better value for money. In terms of location, the villa is far from most restaurants and cafés, so you will need a two-wheeler to get around. If you’re looking for a villa with rustic charm in a serene setting, and you don’t mind it not being spick-and-span, this could be an option.

It is exclusive and private but only 5min away from Dream beach, Devil’s tear and Sandy Bay. The host Riz and Wayan were very responsive and took great care of us. They arranged for our pick up and drop from the port to villa and back. Riz gave us wonderful local recommendations too. We came to Lembongon with the intension to relax and rejuvenate and Villa Damai helped us do just that. Highly recommend this property!

It’s a beautiful place where you can find Damai (peace) with family and love ones. To me it has the best location with tranquil views of ocean tides. A nice pool with a perfect host (Riz), who have been helpful and friendly with a decent team. Damai everywhere!

Wow! This place is gorgeous. A phenomenal view while in the pool. Fantastic life living out of here. A bit far from any bars or restaurants. So you’ll have to rent a scooter or golf cart. The staff were fantastic and will go get groceries for you if desired. Do yourself a favour and stay here with your loved 1 for a few days!! I’ll be back, thanks staff!

This villa is simply incredible. Amazingly private, quiet, welcoming, and about as peaceful as you will ever find. The infinity pool is huge, overlooking the ocean. The main living area is totally open, including a magnificent king bed, and plenty of space to sprawl out and take in the ocean views (and sound of the waves). Service was fantastic, quick, and we were able to get basically any type of drink and food available. This is an absolute perfect spot for a couple, not a family, and if you want privacy and a romantic setting, this is one of the premier spots on Lembongan. If you decide to leave all the windows and doors open, like we did, note that you’ll deal with some bugs and ants. Overall, can’t say enough positive things about the villa.

All together, it was a relaxed environment and felt like a vacation. Everything was perfect.
Ary is really a good host and suggested a good place for dinner. He responded to the request to change the stained sheets and give a mosquito repellent machine and handled it with ease. He also managed the trip to Nusa Penida for sightseeing. The Mt Batur view from villa is incredible. Wifi was super great. Pans were provided which enabled the guest to heat their leftover food. cutlery, first-aid box, Instant Coffee, and tea are available at the site. Our request for late check-out was also accommodated. New property. Water is the swimming pool was warm, clean and pleasant. I stayed at 4 different places on my Indonesia trip and this stay was the best experience. I recommend this place. would love to come back again.

Amazing stay in the villa, I believe this is the best place we’ve done so far! Arya is super accommodating and always looking for solutions for us, even late at night and early morning!! The villa is just amazing with a breathtaking view and upscale amenities. We rented a scooter (recommended and available from Arya) to do all the activities and restaurants around. This island is amazing. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Madu for our honeymoon. Ary is a wonderful host which contributes highly to our high rating. The Villa is incredible, very modern and a great layout. The bedroom is upstairs with living downstairs/outside which makes for a really relaxed island stay. The pool is great, and bed was super comfy and large. Only downside is the hot water lasts max 4-5 minutes so bath isn’t possible either. Plus there’s construction noise but you get that anywhere in Bali, and you’ll likely be out and about during the day anyway. We hired a scooter from the host, and they did our laundry which was so convenient. We highly recommend this Villa! Thank you Ary.

Minutes away from Dream Beach, Sandy Bay, and Devil’s Tear is Laguna Biru, a boutique resort with 5 rooms, a 20-meter-long pool, and a dining area. Inspired by the shades of the ocean, Laguna Biru is tastefully designed in all shades of blue and displays custom furniture and décor made from repurposed materials.

Choose from three different accommodation types:

  • Master bedroom (1 unit) with a king bed and an L-shaped sofa for an additional person.
  • Suites (2 units) with a king bed and space for an extra bed.
  • Lumbung (2 units) with a king bed and a balcony.

Each room is further equipped with an outdoor bathroom, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, and sun chairs. Thoughtful amenities such as a surf rack and a covered scooter parking area add a touch of convenience.

Breakfast is served daily by the pool, and in the evening, it becomes a peaceful spot to enjoy the sunset.

Laguna Biru can accommodate a maximum of 11 people.

Oh my goodness this place is so amazing. We also don’t stay in small boutique / bungalow hotels often and I have a new love for them!!
The accommodation is SO beautiful. The little details the owner has put into it, down to the turtle hooks and wood curtain rods is so impressive…. 
Ok the food – hands down some of the best breakfast we have ever eaten. Location being near Dream Beach etc was great.
I honestly cannot fault it at all.

Beautiful pool, very spacious room, beautiful and clean outdoor bathroom, friendly and very helpful staff and nice breakfast (smoothie bowl, smashed avocado sourdough, oatmeal cappuccino etc.). Location within walking distance of fine beach club and Devil’s Tears. Scooter rental and transfer to and from the port was arranged through hotel.

Stayed there for 7 nights and loved every minute. Room is lovely and big, gorgeous outdoor bathroom, great area out the front of your room to relax on the loungers, big pool, delicious breakfast and amazing location, near lots of restaurants and a lot of nearby attractions. Quiet with just the noise of the breaking waves in the background at night. Bliss!

We would come back immediately and would like to spend 4 nights with Joe again. We stayed 4 nights and that was great for us. We felt very comfortable and would have stayed even longer. The pool in the complex is very nice, big enough that you can swim as well. The breakfast was also great, there is a small menu, you can always choose something and everything tasted very delicious. There is also cappuccino and other coffee specialties. Joe was especially great as well, he took care of every concern. So we were able to easily rent a scooter and also book a snorkeling trip for the next day through it. He was also super accessible and helped with everything.

We stayed in the small but nice cabins. The location and the staff are great! The grounds are beautifully designed and the bathrooms are really cool. Value for money is right here. You eat very good breakfast here. Good location to reach beaches on foot. Our host organized all the excursions we wanted (with insider tips). The pool is great and you can always use it. It was perfect for what we wanted – it was a beautifully kept hotel, the pool was only shared with 4 other rooms so felt almost private & the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They reached out well before we even arrived in Bali to help us arrange taxis on Bali to the port, helped with our ferry and even sorted the taxi for when we were back on the mainland. They also added us on WhatsApp and arranged absolutely everything we needed while there – any trips, taxis to dinner, dinner reservations, laundry etc. The breakfasts are amazing, we had the smoothie bowl most days and got the recipe of the chef! The This place is a paradise and we’d 100% stay here again if we visited the island in the future.

The property is beautiful, with rooms and a dining area around the pool. The location is perfect, close to Devil’s Tears, Dream Beach and many restaurants and spas. Joe gave us a warm welcome every morning and prepared breakfast with love. He and Budi were also helpful with any questions we had at any time.

The best thing about this small boutique hotel is the wonderfully large pool. The hotel has few rooms and is nice and small and intimate. We really liked the furnishings, especially the vases and we felt very comfortable. Joe and Ayu took great care of us. The breakfast was prepared by both and was exceptionally good, especially the avocadotoast and Nasi Goreng – the best we had in Bali. The coffee was great too! Thank you!!

Relax in your own private oasis nestled atop Jungutbatu hill, accessible by car or scooter right to the front door (no step-climbing required!). With its breath taking views of the ocean and Mount Agung, Casa Batu is the perfect accommodation for families or groups of friends, accommodating up to 9 guests. The villa consists of two bedrooms in the main house, a third and fourth bedroom in a separate pod with an external entrance. This layout provides guests with both their own private spaces and a generously sized common area for swimming, dining, or enjoying sunset drinks.

Casa Batu is a uniquely designed property divided into two sections, the main house and the lower-level pods. The main house includes an airy living room with a dining area, kitchen and sofa. On the upper floor, you’ll find a king-sized bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a shared bathroom and toilet. Each room comes with its own private balcony, offering guests the opportunity to soak in the stunning views of the ocean, Mount Agung, and three surf breaks: Playgrounds, Lacerations, and Shipwrecks.

Nestled between the main house and the lower pods is the private pool, surrounded by a garden and sun loungers. A separate entrance leads to the third and fourth bedroom in the second pod, which feature a queen-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony.

The villa is located in one of Nusa Lembongan’s favourite locations, providing easy access to nearby restaurants and Coconut Beach.

We really enjoyed the pool and view, as well as our amazing breakfast each morning – so delicious! Our stay at Casa Batu was lovely. Ary, the villa manager, was an excellent host and shared tips about the island with us. Every morning a lovely breakfast was waiting for us. The house is beautiful and spacious, with an amazing view of Jungutbatu Beach and Mt. Agung in the distance. The location made it very easy to walk down to the restaurant and beach area, and the Spring Spa is quite close as well. The views from the bedroom balconies are gorgeous! Ary helped us to rent a buggy one day to explore the island, and we are so glad we did because there are many more beaches and spots to see on Lembongan.

The staff are so kind and helpful. They met us at the boat harbor and gave us the keys and arranged for a taxi to the villa. Rizz, Sudi and Juni are the loveliest people who are keen to assist you with anything you need. Sudi even got us a scooter delivered to the villa and provided us with extra helmets for sizing. They also had some laundry done for us and communication via whatsapp was flawless and prompt. The villa provided drinking water and a full sized new fridge and freezer with ice cubes- a huge bonus.

Kokomo [Japanese] ‘peace, harmony and soul’

Once you step through the meticulously handmade Bali limestone walls you will sense the peace and tranquility of this beautifully designed and crafted villa. Continuing down the white bougainvillea shaded boardwalk leads you past the discretely hidden bedrooms behind slatted timber sliding screens acting as both a privacy barrier and a welcoming breezeway.

Designed to blend with nature, the Kokomo aesthetic incorporates recycled timbers, teak floors and the timber screening provides both privacy and ventilation.

Sliding back the screen reveals the master bedroom surrounded by garden with a beautifully styled ensuite featuring an outdoor rain shower. The luxurious king size bed and suspended mosquito net draped from the vaulted ceiling provide a perfect retreat for blissful rest.

The guest bedroom gives you the option to set up with either twin beds or a super-king size bed. The spacious outdoor bathroom continues the integration of the warmth of timber with earthy tones and a beautiful open air stone shower wall.

Continue down the boardwalk into the stunning open air living space featuring dramatic recycled Ulin timber beams and a soaring traditional alang alang roof. You can cook up a storm in the fully fitted out kitchen with locally sourced produce or popped over to Sandy Bay Beach Club for all day dining and amazing cocktails.

The living area is fitted with the latest large screen Smart TV and Bluetooth sound bar for fully immersive sound.

All rooms are fitted with fans and the master and guest bedrooms are fully air conditioned.

The pool is a Lakeman tile masterpiece featuring a restful, calming waterfall making your daybed dreaming all the more relaxing.

Check in and check out was easy! We were greeted by a team with a welcome drink and a fruit platter. We loved our stay here. We requested some scooters and we received them within 30 minutes. Amazing villa in a great location with incredible staff
My wife and I had the best time staying at this villa. It is literally right next door to Sandy Bay Beach Club, within walking distance of some great spots to eat, and is so comfortable with an amazing private pool, lots of drinking water, and comfortable beds. The staff were amazing, and I’d like to give a special thank you to Agus for being so responsive and helpful all the time with any questions we had, and organising activities for us such as booking our snorkelling tour and organising scooters for us to use – he was excellent! We had the best time and would love to return.

We were warmly greeted by our lovely host, Agus and staff, on day one with a beautiful fruit platter and tour through the villa. Agus spent time with our family to speak about the villa amenities and how to get around the island, what activities to engage in and where to eat. He kindly arranged for taxis for us and was able to arrange for additional water when required. We were blown away by the exceptionally presented villa. It is exactly like the pictures, extremely comfortable, clean and protected from the heat. The turn down service was beautifully done, making the villa dimly lit and beds ready for a comfortable snooze. Food was easily found in the area as was scooter hire. We found the Sandy Beach Club particularly handy as they have a playground there for the kids. We were also able to arrange a baby fence around the pool to stop our ambitious toddler from getting into the water unsupervised. We were sad to leave Villa Kokomo and hope to come back one day.

At Morin Resort you will enjoy a deep healing sleep, and wake up to breathtaking ocean views. Our boutique suites offer the perfect balance of comfort, elegance, and chilled island vibes.

Designed to feel playful, adventurous and carefree, Morin Resort is a heritage boutique hotel run like a home, where everyone feels like family. Located on the most secluded and peaceful side of Nusa Lembongan, we are within a 3-minute walk to two beaches.

 

Our Story

Morin Resort is built on the foundation and connections that have grown from three decades of Lembongan life between two families: the Monoh from Nusa Lembongan and the Jamar from Belgium.

The name Morin comes from the Mooring Buoy, the anchoring point used to moor boats. The “Mo” from Morin also celebrates Made Monoh, the land owner and keeper.

We designed Morin Resort as a place:

-to discover and protect the natural world of our fragile island

We were so thrilled to be staying on Nusa Lembongan and we agonized over which island to visit. This island is super peaceful and has the most green water we’ve ever seen! The ocean was warm, hardly any bugs in the evenings and plenty of beaches to explore with two of them being walkable to the AirB&B. Private pool, private beach, stunning views, friendly staff, great temperature in the pool to enjoy and cool down – shaded bar seats for a read if it’s too hot – coconut beach and restaurants all walkable down a pretty adventurous but fun path – the staff offer you torches but you can also use your phone. The views from the rooms are INCREDIBLE.

There are charming beaches on both sides of the resort just a few steps away. When the water level is low, you can also access the beach below the resort, which is amazing and rarely frequented. We really enjoyed the fresh and healthy food. Gluten-free bread was delicious! Fresh juices, smoothies, and ginger shots every day. Yummy! Although the entire resort is beautiful, its heart is wonderful people who made us feel at home. Huge thanks to: Neva, Koming, Edi, Adli, Made, Oria and the whole Morin family. Beautiful and idyllic place to stay. It has something extraordinary in the houses on stilts, completely made of wood, to stay at night and to get up in the morning with a beautiful view. Really recommended. In terms of hygiene, it’s similar to other places in Bali. Towels were stained and the whole place is not dirty but also not sparkling clean. However, the extremely accommodating and very nice staff exchanged them directly for clean on request. The food was very exceptional. You don’t need to expect pizza or pasta here. I’ve never eaten most of it before and it was something else. It tasted good. The gluten-free offer for celiac disease was great! Both gluten-free breakfast and dinner were easily possible and tasted 1000 times better than the offer in Germany. Things to do like snorkeling can also be booked through the property. The pop music is sometimes a bit loud and doesn’t match at all the vibe of the calm and peace of the beautiful resort and surroundings. But the staff was very kind and responsive when we asked to change the music. Overall it was an amazing stay and we will definitely go back to Morin Resort next time we go to Lembongan.

A paradise! ! The view and especially the staff and the service were unbeatable!!! We would recommend anyone to go there! The selection of food and drinks is very small, but very delicious and primarily vegan. You should definitely enjoy the sunset in the infinity pool with a delicious matcha latte overlooking the sea!!! Rooms are spacious and made up twice a day. In addition, there is an absolutely safe mosquito repellent on every bed. The service is amazing!!! We have never experienced such friendly, warm people! Absolutely accommodating and positive! There is always a small service beeper so you never have to wait for waiters lying by the pool. The staff is like a small family and takes care of everything! We will be back!!!

We spent 6 nights at Morin Resort – beautiful location to stay. Woke up to the sound of birds every morning and ocean views. Stunning pool and outlook, which we often had to ourselves or a few other guests only. Vegan food – breakfasts were pre-ordered each night with great variety. Amazing staff – Neva and Aka took very good care of everything we needed including helping to book surfing and snorkelling trips. We stayed in the garden room and island lower room – Top floor rooms are more quiet than the lower floor rooms. Would definitely stay again!

My partner and I had an incredible experience staying at Morin Resort during our 5 days in Nusa Lembongan. The infinity pool, outdoor shower, views, and facilities were magical. The resort is a 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches in the area, coconut beach. We were also a 5 minute walk to the diving company we dove with during our stay there, Tamarind divers! The complimentary breakfasts at Morin were some of the best breakfasts we had on our vacation! The chefs here are fantastic, and I’d recommend their lunch/dinner as well. They cleaned our room daily, refilled the water/mini fridge, and brought our food order to our outdoor hangout area upon request. Everyone who works there is welcoming, friendly, and truly cares about the guest’s experience. Special shoutout to Eka, Putri, and Neva for helping make our stay so memorable. Most wonderful place in Lembongan with very friendly staff named the “Morin Family”, which always provide a nice vibe! – The pool is not as cold as we prefer, which made it hard to enjoy the sun in Indonesia’s climate. It was very cool to rent a scooter and drive around this little island! Traffic is much easier than other places in Bali. The food at Morin is also Very good, but so are the nearby restaurants: Casa Bambù Canteen Restaurant & Bar, Stengbali restaurant Nusa Lembongan AND Beach Cafe at Lago. REMEMBER to bring enough cash, as the nearby ATM’s may be out of money and will cost you extra. If you like sleeping to +06:30 am: bring ANC earbuds + sleeping mask. The nature will wake you up early. In short: really nice breakfast, marvelous view and a very nice pool area.

Location is great, a bit hidden but still walkable distance to other restaurants even though the restaurant at the resort is great too! A sublime location, overlooking a cliff out to sea, Morin a place to get away from it and really unwind. We slept with wide open doors every night with the gentle sea breeze blowing over us under a thatched roof. ( though air con is an option) slept so well! Is absolutely breathtaking resort. ! It is if you walk into the paradise. The vibe around this resort is amazing. The young lady owner did a perfect job create this piece of heaven on this island. The accommodation has direct view of ocean. So you wake up every morning to the sound and view of ocean. It is very short walk to the 2 beaches with excellent spa just around the corner. I need to stress that also the lady chef makes wonderful tasty dishes. Even my husband who is everything except vegan loved the food! Everything is fresh and prepared with love. Taste all the cocktails it is must Especially the coffee with passion fruit.

View amazing, Lovely pool, Quiet location, lovely building structures. Good service. Overall an amazing resort, just needs a few tweaks re bathrooms and in room amenities re plugs somewhere to put luggage. Service is good but could be improved. Food is good. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to people who are fit and active as the resort is easily accessible to town but with a bit of a bush trek and some maneuvering down rocks to next lovely beach . once there 3 mins an easy walk to town. Spring Spa etc. unfortunately we had to leave early as had a home emergency.

Let me start by describing impressions on arrival. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink while the paperwork was being done. The hotel setting is really special overlooking the bay. Views from every corner of the hotel are esthetically beautiful. The hotel has a pool with a picturesque panorama on the ocean and Bali mountains. The room, a bungalow with an open window, offering a scenic view and an open-air bathroom with a mango tree inside is quite special. But what is really great about the hotel is the staff. They really do everything to please the guests. One example, we arrived a bit sick from Bali, and the chef cooked something which was not on the menu to suit our needs, preparing the best-in-my life miso soup. Some delicacies from the menu (e.g. smoothies) are really excellent (Good Karma is worth a Michellin star). Good to note that everything on the menu is plant based/vegetarian. It is a really unique place in harmony with the nature, preserving the local legacy and supporting the community. The hotel is in the middle of several nice beaches in a walking distance, and walk path could be challenging for people who are not fit/mobile.

Sea Shanty is the result of the vision to build a simple but beautiful villa, created from recovered teak sourced in Java. This gives the villa a genuine island feel and exudes a romantic touch and brings our guests into a tropical idyll so close to this stunning Sandy Bay beach.

You will be immersed in nature and revel in the surrounds as you are able to have the villa completely open to sleep virtually under the stars and hear the waves crashing onto Devils Tear.

The villa concept always embraced the outdoors and as such the large Bale built at the end of the pool creates another living space to enjoy.

For those looking for more seclusion the villa can be closed up with curtains drawn and the air-conditioning on giving you the option to relax in the comfort of indoors.

The ‘Shanty’ is only 50 metres away from Nusa Lembongan’s famous Sandy Bay Beach Club.  Enjoy delicious meals and incredible cocktails throughout the day and into the evening whilst you watch Mother Nature’s sky show as the sun sets.

This villa was just amazing. It’s stunning and the service is impeccable. After the long trip to Nusa Lembongan we were greeted with cold orange juice and cold towels and friendly staff. They made our stay so great with booking us activities and helping us with washing and recommending amazing spots. The water is safe to drink from the filtered water so that was amazing. Such a lovely villa! It was perfect for us and the toddler! Agus provided us with a high chair which was fab! Nice and private and it is in walkable distance of Devils Tear. Sandy Bay Beach Club is on the door step. There is also a massage place, boutique shop, multiple restaurants and cafes and supermarkets in walking distance. A really great place to stay.

Check in worked out great. We needed a scooter for the duration of the stay, which was already ready when we arrived. We were received in a very friendly manner. On request, the room was cleaned daily. The employees were very responsive to our messages. Island feeling is guaranteed. 🙂 Devils Tear is also within walking distance. With a role, you can quickly get to any place for two.
