SEAWEED BATHS – Indonesia is the world’ s largest producer of tropical seaweed, this seaweed is hydrocolloid, rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants it produces a jelly like substance which instantly hydrates the skin. Seaweed grows quickly and has a low carbon footprint.

At Aquam we rinse and steam the seaweed before adding it to our baths. Enjoyed for its muscle soothing, anti-inflammatory and hydrating qualities and when we are done we recycle it back to the earth as it makes an excellent soil enhancer. The type of seaweed we use is called katoni. At Aquam we understand that Bali and its outer islands have a fresh water crisis, so we have Desy, our salt water desalinator – Desy extracts water directly from the ocean, purifies and desalinates the water making it a sustainable way to bathe.
