The Tamarind Resort Nusa Lembongan
The Tamarind Resort Nusa Lembongan – The new kid on the block
The Tamarind Resort, is Nusa Lembongan’s newest resort and is delivering fantastic accommodation and facilities, giving Lembongan visitors another choice when it comes to affordable villas and luxury suites.
Within hours of arriving we felt very much “at home”, the staff are delightful and offer an in-room check in service so you are immediately in the air-conditioned comfort of your suite or villa.
3 villas, 12 suites, 2 infinity pools, kids pool, restaurant, gym, day spa, suitable for families & couples
Located on the hill in Jungut Batu, a short 2 minute walk to the beach front and lots of restaurants, The Tamarind Resort Nusa Lembongan is perfectly situated, especially for those who prefer not to use scooters as everything is in walking distance.
Named after a 300+ year old Tamarind tree which canopies the reception, the tree has dutifully been protected and also thoughtfully incorporated into elements of the guest experience to give significance of its importance.
The Tamarind Resort has all the facilities and services of a large resort yet offers the intimacy of a boutique hotel.
Room options vary depending on the view, with luxury spacious suites Candrika, Atapa and Pavana ( from AU$220 / night) all having the same features, including super comfortable beds, Satellite TV, desk, sofa bed ( which can be used as an extra bed) and private balconies. The Villas are available as 2 or 3 bedroom options, and all open out onto the top level guest infinity pool with views of turquoise waters, surf breaks and beyond to Bali and Mt Agung.
The two infinity pools (and a kids pool) give you plenty of options to lounge poolside, and when you are ready to take the holiday mode to the next level the Amlika Day Spa provides divine massages and other exquisite treatments.
For the active ones in the family, the resort gym is the answer and is one of the best fitted out gym’s we have ever been to, it has got EVERTHING you need, so there is no excuses not to burn off a few cocktail calories!
All in all we are huge fans of The Tamarind Resort, here is what we really LOVED:
- The generous ala carte breakfast menu ( Smashed avo was our favourite)
- Gorgeous bed linen & “tiffany” blue pool towels
- Environmental responsible approach thru out the resort
- Feeling of space and privacy
- Tuna Tartar (and everything on the menu!) at Indica Restaurant
- WIFI was reliable and fast ( a must when you have to work on holidays)
