The Best Cafes to Work From on Nusa Lembongan

The Best Cafes to Work From on Nusa Lembongan

Not long ago, getting online on Nusa Lembongan meant crossing your fingers over a warung’s patchy Wi-Fi — or giving up entirely. The island ran on island time in every sense, and that was part of the charm.

But things have quietly shifted.

Proper cafes have settled across the island, Starlink has found its way into many spaces (and our villas too), and reliable internet is no longer a lucky find. Whether you’re a digital nomad chasing a few productive hours, a dad on holiday clearing the inbox, or just organising tomorrow’s plans over a good coffee — Nusa Lembongan now does both: work, then switch off. Easy.

Bali Eco Deli

Bali Eco Deli, cafe in nusa lembongan, coworking space in nusa lembongan

Breezy, semi-outdoor, and powered by Starlink — Bali Eco Deli is best for a quick check-in rather than a full work session. It’s the kind of place you stop by to clear a few emails, then stay longer than planned for the food. The menu leans fresh and feel-good: smoothie bowls, wraps, and nourishing dishes that properly fuel you for the rest of the day. A wholesome little reset in the middle of the day.

Ginger & Jamu

Ginger & Jamu, cafe in nusa lembongan, coworking space in nusa lembongan

Right on Jungutbatu beach, where sandy feet are part of the dress code. Ginger & Jamu is ideal for a quick inbox check that somehow turns into lunch. Starlink keeps things running smoothly, the food is consistently good, and the view makes your screen time shorter than expected.

Milo & Oliver

Milo & Oliver, cafe in nusa lembongan, coworking space in nusa lembongan

All-day brunch, fast Wi-Fi, and a laid-back energy that makes staying longer feel justified. Milo & Oliver is one of those places where productivity comes in waves — helped along by good coffee and the occasional board game break. Fully air-conditioned indoors, so it’s a welcome escape on a hot Lembongan afternoon. A great option if you are coming with friends and family.

Tales Bookcafe

Tales Bookcafe, cafe in nusa lembongan, coworking space in nusa lembongan

Tucked away near Tamarind Bay, Tales Bookcafe is the quiet one. Think soft corners, shelves of books, and a slower pace. It’s less about quick emails, more about uninterrupted focus — or simply taking your time. With both a fully air-conditioned indoor area and a breezy semi-outdoor space, you can pick your mood. There’s even a book swap if you feel like lingering a little longer.

The General

The General, cafe in nusa lembongan, coworking space in nusa lembongan

A firm favourite for a reason. The General pairs reliable Wi-Fi, fresh pastries through the day, and something heartier when the afternoon rolls in. Plugs are tucked under the seats, so you can settle in without watching your battery percentage. Easy to lose a whole morning here.

Tigerlillys Cafe

Tigerlillys, cafe in nusa lembongan, coworking space in nusa lembongan

Just across from The General, but with a different mood. Tigerlilly’s semi-outdoor poolside seating gives that unmistakable island feel — relaxed, a little indulgent, but still practical. Fast Wi-Fi, accessible plugs, and a menu that covers both Asian and Western favourites. Work, but make it Lembongan.

Ready to stay connected on Nusa Lembongan?

Nusa Lembongan isn’t just somewhere you come to switch off — it’s somewhere you can balance both.

A few productive hours in the morning, and the rest of the day opens up: snorkelling, surfing, exploring Nusa Ceningan, or simply doing nothing at all by the pool.

If you’re planning a stay, many of our villas are now powered by Starlink, making it easier than ever to stay connected when you need to.

Gabets Pub Nusa Lembongan

Gabet’s Pub: The First and Only Irish Pub in Nusa Lembongan

Gabet’s Pub: The First and Only Irish Pub in Nusa Lembongan

Beer, Views, and Fun All in One Place

If you’re looking for a spot that blends classic Irish pub character with the easy rhythm of island life, Gabet’s Pub is where it all comes together. Sitting just before the iconic Yellow Bridge, it’s the first and only Irish pub in Nusa Lembongan—offering hearty food, cold pints, creative cocktails, and that unmistakable warm, communal spirit pubs are known for.

Gabet's Pub Nusa Lembongan

One of the biggest draws is the scenic view and island atmosphere. The semi–open layout looks out toward the seaweed farms and across to Nusa Ceningan, so there’s always something to catch your eye—whether it’s local farmers at work, fishing boats drifting by, or the Yellow Bridge glowing at sundown. It captures the easygoing warmth you’d expect in a local, while giving you a backdrop you simply won’t find anywhere else.

Gabet's Pub, Nusa Lembongan

And of course, what’s a pub without a drink in hand? At Gabet’s, the drinks list is a centrepiece. Guinness is on tap from the Ireland, while Bali craft beers bring a local twist. The cocktail menu strikes a nice balance between classics and inventive house creations, keeping the choices broad and interesting. Even if you’re not drinking alcohol, the mocktails and soft options mean you can still enjoy the full pub experience.

Gabet's Pub Nusa Lembongan

The food punches well above expectations, staying true to pub tradition with hearty, satisfying dishes. We tried the Irish stew, pork ribs, and tender beef cheek—all generous in portion, beautifully plated, and rich in flavour. The menu mixes pub staples with international favourites, making it easy for groups to find something for everyone. Desserts are often overlooked on the island, but at Gabet’s they’re a highlight—well worth saving room for if you’ve got a sweet tooth.

Gabet's Pub Nusa Lembongan

What really sets this place apart are the unique extras. Gabet’s is one of the few venues in Lembongan where you can enjoy shisha, and it’s also one of the rare spots hosting live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. Sports screenings keep travellers connected to the games they don’t want to miss. And just downstairs, you can find their Game zone with pool and ping pong, plus “Cat Island” adds a playful twist, where you can spend time with a lively crew of cats—unexpected and fun.

Gabet's Pub Nusa Lembongan

What makes Gabet’s special, though, is that it’s not just for pub-goers. Even if you don’t usually step into pubs, the mix of views, food, drinks, and entertainment makes it worth the visit. Whether you come for a cold pint, a hearty meal, or just to watch the Yellow Bridge glow at sunset, Gabet’s Pub proves that Irish hospitality feels right at home on Nusa Lembongan.

Tucked into the southwest corner of Nusa Lembongan, Sandy Bay is the kind of place that invites you to slow down. Think barefoot afternoons, salty breezes, and golden-hour views. If you’re craving a laid-back day filled with gentle adventure and a touch of indulgence, this one’s for you.

Ease in with Dream Beach & Devil’s Tears

Start your day with a little adventure. Dream Beach is just a short scooter ride away – a postcard-perfect beach with soft white sand and turquoise waves. While it’s not ideal for swimming due to strong currents, it’s a stunning spot to relax, dip your toes, and soak up the view. After a slow wander along the shore, follow the coastal path to Devil’s Tears, where crashing waves and dramatic spray put on a show – nature’s version of a wake-up call.

Island-inspired shopping

After exploring, head inland and drop by Nalu Home Decor. This coastal boutique is filled with treasures – from home décor, rings and bracelets, and flowy dresses to artisanal tropical accessories like woven hats and beach bags. It’s a lovely place to find a little piece of the island to take home.

Time to Unwind

Afternoons are made for pampering. Choose from two of Sandy Bay’s top spas: Glo Day Spa, offering modern treatments and air-conditioned bliss, or Jamu Day Spa, with its all-natural, earthy charm. Whether you go for a classic massage or a full-body ritual, you’ll leave feeling completely renewed.

Dinner & Cocktails at Sandy Bay Beach Club

As golden hour rolls in, make your way to Sandy Bay Beach Club. The menu is full of fresh seafood, woodfired pizzas, and hearty island favourites. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a slow, sun-kissed day.

Whether you’re staying in a secluded villa or don’t feel like navigating the island’s narrow roads on a scooter, having access to pick-up/drop-off or delivery services makes dining out (or in) a whole lot easier.

Fortunately, many local restaurants have stepped up to provide transport or food delivery options to make your holiday more convenient. Whether you’re craving a beachside dinner, a sunset cocktail, or a quiet meal in your villa, these services ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.

From couples on a romantic getaway to families with young kids, knowing which restaurants offer these perks can help you plan your meals with ease.

Restaurants with Pick-Up & Drop-Off Service

Many restaurants in Nusa Lembongan offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off services for guests staying on the island. It’s a thoughtful and practical solution, especially if you’re staying in a more remote area, travelling with children, or simply want a stress-free night out. These services are typically arranged via WhatsApp, with the restaurant sending a driver straight to your villa or resort. Whether you’re planning a sunset dinner or a casual lunch, getting there has never been easier.

Restaurants with Delivery Service

Sometimes, nothing beats the comfort of dining in. For those relaxing in their villa or bungalow, Nusa Lembongan’s growing list of restaurants offering island-wide food delivery makes it easy to enjoy restaurant-quality meals without going anywhere. From local Indonesian favourites to healthy café meals and family-style comfort food, these delivery options are ideal for lazy days, sunset picnics, or cosy nights in.
